Terms and conditions
These terms cover two things: how you may use the Tyne Road Rescue website, and the general terms that apply when we carry out recovery, breakdown assistance or vehicle transport work for you. Please read them before using the website or booking a job.
These are our general terms. They may be supplemented by terms agreed for a specific job. If we agree something different with you for a particular job, what we agreed for that job takes priority where it differs from these general terms.

Our services: general terms
Quotes and prices
The cost of a job depends on distance, the vehicle and the work involved. We confirm the price with you before we set off. If something changes once we arrive, for example the vehicle is in a different place or condition from what was described, we will explain this and agree any change with you before carrying on.
Arrival times
Any arrival time we give is an honest estimate, not a guarantee. It depends on your location, traffic and our current workload. If we are delayed, we will try to let you know.
Your right to move the vehicle
When you book a job, you confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission to have it recovered or moved. We may ask for proof. We may refuse or stop a job if we have reason to believe you do not have the right to move the vehicle.
Valuables and personal belongings
Please remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before we move it. We cannot accept responsibility for items left in the vehicle, except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
Keys, access and information
Please provide the keys (where available) and tell us about anything that could affect the job, such as a vehicle that will not steer, roll or brake, a low or modified vehicle, or limited access. You are responsible for making sure we have safe and lawful access to the vehicle and to the destination. If we cannot reach or load the vehicle because of information we were not given, a charge may apply, which we will explain.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel, please tell us as soon as you can. If you cancel before we set off, there is normally no charge. If you cancel after we have set off or arrived, we may charge a reasonable amount to cover the time and travel already involved. We will tell you about any such charge when you book.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the job, unless we have agreed something different with you in advance.
Safety
Our driver may decline or pause a job if carrying it out would be unsafe or unlawful. We will explain why and talk through the options with you.
Our liability
We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. Where the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, for existing faults or damage to the vehicle, or for business losses such as lost earnings.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us on 07763 706 830 or info@tyneroadrescue.co.uk as soon as possible so we can try to put things right.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we use the personal information you give us.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book applies to your job. If you have any questions, visit our contact page.
